The character development is excellent. The content is always darker than I prefer but I am living for the power development and mystery. Keep them coming, and in audio book format!

The series that changed my life
I’m a serious bibliophile and get pretty attached to books as it were, but when I tell you that this book starts the series that changed my life, I mean it. I’ve learned so much about myself, these beautiful characters, and made friends in totally not a cult that have given my life new light. I will never not recommend and bought an extra copy to pass around to all my friends to get them hooked as well. Thank you. Thank you for everything.

The right level of intense for a season finale
WHEEL OF FATE is the culmination of the second season generally, and Laurence's deal with Rufus, specifically. The warlock who has been manipulating things in the background and was identified in SPELLS OF SUMMER has finally made his move: demanding that Laurence and Rufus provide him with a particular spellbook from Rufus's sanctum. It's great, excellently crafted and just the right level of intense for this point in the series.

More Freddy!
As tense and hectic as SPELLS OF SUMMER is, it feels like it might be the calm before an even greater storm.
